# How onboarding works

Getting started is designed to be smooth and straightforward. Here's what to expect:

1. Once you're selected for a role, you'll receive an email letting you know, along with details on next steps.
2. The email will direct you to log in to your talent portal, linked to your personal email.
3. In the portal, you'll review the offer and choose to accept or decline it.
4. If you accept, your onboarding checklist opens up automatically.
5. Most of the checklist is self-serve, meaning you can move through it at your own pace. A few steps will still need support from our team. 
6. Every step includes a tool tip to guide you through what action is needed and timelines you can expect from our end. 
7. If you run into any issues, you can create a support ticket directly from the portal, no need to leave the page to find help. Our team will get back to you promptly.
